I’ve mentioned this before, but the Fodors guide to Morocco is a piece of junk. The hotels they recommend are inevitably overpriced tourist traps, the restaurants they recommend are almost universally terrible, and there just isn’t a lot of information.
But when I arrived to Tangier, something new was made clear to me: THE TRAIN STATION IS NOT WHERE THEY HAVE IT MARKED. As much as I wanted to start a 3 day vacation with arguing with cab drivers and getting ass-lost, I’m rather upset.
If you are reading this, I ask that you promise never, ever, to buy a Fodor’s product. Trust me. This is for your own good and will save you one millions headaches.
